To do this exercise, start by standing up with your arms by your side. Next, jump while lifting your arms over your head and spreading your legs, creating an “X” with your body. Jump again, returning your arms to your side and closing your legs.
3. Side Planks
Side planks are a great way to work out your core muscles. Fitness experts will tell you that this is a great way to work out your abs, arms, and legs.
To do a side plank, lean on your elbow and forearm while balancing your weight on the sides of your feet. Lif your butt off of the ground, creating a straight line. Hold the position to complete the workout.
4. Bridge
Bridges are great exercises for the hips, glutes, and core. This is an easy exercise that anyone can do. You can make the exercise more difficult by adding weights as well.
To do this exercise, lay on your back with your knees up. Lift your butt until your body is in a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Make sure to engage your glutes and core for the best success!
5. Squats
Squats make great hip exercises for women and can help to strengthen the core as well. They are easy to do, and can also be made into more of a challenge with added weights.
To do squats, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and squat into a sitting position by bending your legs. Stand up straight and repeat.
